Drake Beats Beatles’ 1964 Record Of Most Top 10 Hits Within A Year

Drake is not considered the Billboard Bully just because. The rapper recently received the honor of beating the Beatles’ 1964 record of the most Top 10 hits within a year. Although 2018 has been filled with many highs and lows for the Canadian rapper, he is coming out on top. Recent reports reveal after 50 years, he is the first artist to have the most top 10 hits within a year.

Over the course of 2018, he’s earned at least 12 Top 10 Hits; three No. 1’s from his record breaking album “Scorpion;” including, “God’s Plan,” “Nice for What,” and “In My Feelings.” While songs like “Nonstop,” “I’m Upset,” “Diplomatic Immunity,” “Emotionless,” and “Don’t Matter to Me” have all charted in the Top 10 space. Some songs on the list also include his features from Lil Baby’s “Yes Indeed,” BlocBoy JB’s “Look Alive,” and Migos’ “Walk It Talk It.”

The last artist to achieve was the Beatles who had at least 11 Top 10 hits in 1964. The new year is still two months away, maybe Drake will be pulling a few more hits before the year is out.
