More Money, More Child Support :: DMX Owes His Kid $1 Million In Back Child Support

Rapper DMX (real name Earl Simmons) reportedly owes one of his children over $1 million in back child support. Wondering why he hasn’t paid up? According to X, he’s not sure that the child his actually his. X allegedly has a 10-year-old daughter, with Patricia Trejo. Patricia recently appeared in L.A. County Superior Court to shoot down a motion X filed to perform in Europe, as the two are currently in a heated paternity suit. [FYI: in these types of cases where a child is owed a significant amount of money, the owing parent is prohibited from obtaining a passport without a court order from a judge.] X petitioned for a special dispensation of a passport. In court on Thursday, Patricia explained that X doesn’t need to go anywhere until he pays the money in child support that he owes for their daughter. She also alleges that X hasn’t paid a dime since the child was born and she’s tired of waiting around. X refuses to pay child support until a DNA test is conducted.

Unfortunately, this is not the first time that X has had negative issues (and press) involving his personal family life. He was married to his long-term girlfriend, Tashera Simmons, for eleven years, before they filed for divorce. X had extramarital affairs during his marriage, resulting in children outside of their marriage. No official word form X’s camp on the case involving the alleged 10-year-old daughter that he has w/ Patricia.
