The Dream Admits He Tried to Cover for Gwyneth Paltrow’s “N-Word” Tweet

The debate continues on whether or not Hollywood star Gwyneth Paltrow’s ‘N*iggas in Paris’ tweet during the Watch The Throne concert in London was appropriate. Several celebs have come forward(like Q-Tip and Russell Simmons) to express their views on her tweet . Paltrow’s friend R&B singer/songwriter The Dream (who was partying at the concert with her) came to her defense backing her up for using the word. Realizing the backlash of her tweet he even went as far as taking the blame for her saying it was actually him who tweeted it from her account. While on the red carpet of Vitamin Water’s Fader concert the Dream has came clean and admitted that he was covering up for Paltrow to MTV News saying,
“Well, we were there, of course. We were Patron’d out of our minds, number one. Number two; I was more so trying to take the heat for a friend because I knew that the reaction was going to be silly. I know what she meant; I know what she didn’t mean.”
What are your thoughts? Should Gwyneth get a g-pass because she was partying with them in Paris and didn’t “mean it” that way? Or should the use of the word be inappropriate coming from anyone’s mouth?

It shouldn’t be taken lightly but Its said and done now! I’m tired of everyone using the N word so loosely….enough is enough, our generation doesn’t realize how offensive that word is to our parents/grandparents generation! We need to be more aware of what comes out of our mouth!
