Cynthia Bailey & Peter Thomas Admit 3 Months Without Sex, Almost Caused Them to Divorce
Apparently, sex is an integral part of a healthy and happy marriage. A popular reality TV couple is speaking quite candidly about a recent sex issue that they had when the cameras stopped rolling. If you’re watching this season of Real Housewives of Atlanta, both Peter Thomas and Cynthia Bailey shared that things weren’t picture perfect because of a health concern. The 45-year-old model was suffering from fibroids.
If you’ll recall, while the cameras were rolling, Peter made a light-hearted comment about them not having enough sex. And while Cynthia brushed it off, they’re both now sharing just how serious a sex-less marriage can end things. In an interview with Life & Style, Cynthia confessed
We’d be divorced for sure.
Agreeing with his wife, Peter chimed in
I know we would have been done. There is absolutely no way we could have survived another year if things hadn’t changed.
Cynthia’s suddenly nonexistent sex drive was due to bloating and discomfort that she was experiencing because of the fibroids. And with no sparks in the bedroom, Peter admitted that he was contemplating cheating:
Me and my buddies were planning a trip to Venezuela because nobody knows us there.
But not to fret, all is now well with the couple’s romantic life. Cynthia confirmed
We’re intimate a lot more now and it feels great.

It’s sad that they don’t see how SAD this is. Your wife, due to a medical condition, wasn’t able to sexually be with you for a time and you were thinking about cheating! And she ain’t trippin on hearing him say that! 3 months only and he was ready to start planning! You don’t plan on the “worst” but it is in your vows! Not just the better part! People don’t honor vows and they don’t know what it means to be married! They just marry.

I totally agree! That is very sad for him to do her like that. He couldn’t love her because loves out weighs EVERYTHING. She has a medical condition. It’s not like she just don’t want to me intimate with him. WOW…SMDH.

It is so funny Cynthia talks about this I recently found out I have fiberoids as well and my doctor has me on medication to shrink them before opting into a complete hysterctomy now my husband knows all about this and we deal with it according to how I feel and whats comfortable for me. He supports me if I dont feel good and we find other ways to have fun if the bedroom is not an option for the moment. I cant imagine my husband telling me that if we dont have it because of medical reasons well he is just going to go out of town to compensate. I think that would be disrespectful to me and the marriage and most of all it shows no compassion for me. I agree and cosign fully that nowadays people dont take marriage or vows or love for that matter seriously or the way it was intended now people are marrying each other as an accessory to have and its sad. People wonder whats wrong with society where shall I start????
Godiva , before you do the hysterctomy look into a procedure called UFE, Uterine Fibroid Embolization, I had very bad fibroids and very heavy menstrual cycles. My doctor GYN told me about the procedure it was the best thing I could have ever done. I am so happy now!! no more pain no more crazy menstrual cycles
