George Clinton Calls Black Eyed Peas Musical Thieves, Sues for Copyright Infringement

George Clinton has filed a multi-million dollar copyright infringement suite against Black Eyed Peas for stealing parts of his single, ‘Not Just Knee Deep.’ The law suit alleges that Black Eyed Peas’ remix to their 2003 hit, ‘Shut Up,’ uses portions of ‘Not Just Knee Deep,’ and it was an uncleared sample in the track. The lawsuit was filed on December 10. Clinton claims that he never signed a contact and has not agreed to any terms for the sample. Spotted @ the Boom Box
