Queen Latifah Covers Parade Magazine–Talks Kids, the Beauty of Silence & Dieting

40 year-old rapper/actress, Queen Latifah, who is hosting the 37th annual People’s Choice Awards (on Weds.), covers Parade Magazine and looks effing good! Peep a few quotables, especially the one that seems to be intriguing (uh, yeah, wanting kids in the future) to the nosy folks.
On children in her future: “cruise control with a couple of kids under my belt.”

On her morning ritual: “I’m not one of those people who wake up chatting. I usually don’t want to speak for the first 10 or 20 minutes. And I don’t really want you to talk to me either! Making that little peaceful time at the beginning of my day really helps me gear up. I got the idea from doing a talk show, when you’ve gotta talk all day. I realized that I enjoyed the silence.”
On dieting for the New Year: “If I want to trim down or something, I do a little bit here and there. That way I don’t have to go cold turkey on New Year’s Day.”
