(Finale Recap) RHOA’s ::: Closet Freak, Run-Away-Bride & More + Video Footage

Finally, the season finale of the Real Housewives of Atlanta. Check the recap, compliments of Yosh.
Scene 1: Lawrence performs “Closet Freak,” written by Kandi. Everyone shows up and its obvious Kim and NeNe are still not speaking. The most important part of this scene is Lawrence’s performance. He comes out in a cat suit, vogue’n with the BEAT face and all. If I had to choose between him and Kim’s performance, I’d pay to see Lawrence stole the show. Meanwhile, Cynthia and Peter are now down to 2 days until the wedding and she’s still wondering how to pull it off financially.
Scene 2: Phaedra prepares to return to work, now that her son, Ayden, is 8 weeks old. Meanwhile, Kandi and Kim have an awkward conversation about music and money. By the end of the conversation, they decide to have their respective managers handle their finances, so that it doesn’t come in between their friendship.
Scene 3: Sheree is auditions for a movie and the audition doesn’t go quite well. Actress, Terri Vaughn, sits in on the audition is very critical of Sheree’s acting chops. Vaughn even goes as far as interrupting her twice, during her audition. Meanwhile, Cynthia’s mother pays the $3,000 needed for her open bar. And everyone, including her mother and sister, continue to ask Cynthia if she is ‘ready’ to marry Peter. Her mother tells her that she thinks that Peter is financially abusing Cynthia, etc.
Scene 4: Greg has a sit down talk with NeNe. He feels miserable because he didn’t acknowledge NeNe’s hurt and he apologizes for it. Fast forward to the wedding ceremony. It’s now 6 hours to the wedding that there are no wedding bands and no marriage license (or so we think).
Scene 5: Kim showcases her new boob job and we meet her new boo, Kroy (of the Atlanta Falcons). Meanwhile, at the wedding, Peter shows up a little tipsy. And Cynthia’s sister is holding the damn marriage certificate hostage, as she doesn’t want Cynthia to marry Peter. I guess this was the drama we’ve been waiting all season for!
Scene 6: Kim brings her own bottle of wine to the cocktail hour! The wedding starts and Cynthia is having cold feet. Everybody is waiting and looking at the stairs, NO CYNTHIA! Kim was just convinced that she wasn’t going to show up and Kandi thinks that she’s ran off. Cynthia finally shows up and looks absolutely gorgeous! Peter breaks down in a few tears and everything! They exchange vows (no rings O_o) and it’s now Mr. and Mrs. Peter Thomas!
Scene 7: At the wedding reception, everybody is enjoying themselves. Dwight and NeNe seem to clear the friendship air. The episode ends with NeNe expressing that she “wants her happy back”, Kandi is still waiting for Prince Charming, Phaedra has everything (even that dreadful glitter on her eyelids), Sheree is having the time of her life acting and is coming out of her shell, Kim is preggers and still cant sing, and Cynthia thinks over time, it will be “happy ever after”. Check back for the Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion show on February 13th!
