Tichina Arnold Lands New TV Show + Alleged Money Woes, Owes Over $300k

Actress and New York native, Tichina Arnold, who’s most recent TV project was, Everybody Hates Chris, has landed a role in a new TV pilot, Happily Divorced. The show is about a woman who begins dating after she discovers that her husband is gay (ouch). Three stars have reportedly signed up for roles in Fran Drescher’s new TV Land pilot. Rita Moreno (who starred in West Side Story) and Robert Walden (who played in All the President’s Men) will play the main character’s parents. Tichina Arnold will play the main character’s best friend. Arnold became well known for playing Pamela James on the sitcom, Martin.
On a less festive note, Arnold and her family (she has a daughter) reside in Atlanta. And allegedly and according to court record, Arnold owes taxes in the state of California. California has her listed as one of the top 250 individual and business taxpayers with state income tax liens where the total balance owed is greater than $100,000. Arnold (allegedly) owes $ 383,357.75.
Regardless, can’t wait to see her new show!
