NeNe Leakes Covers Rolling Out Mag, Declares “I am not an angry black woman.”

Earlier this month, NeNe Leakes, who is currently starring on the reality show, ‘Celebrity Apprentice,’ graced the cover of Rolling Out magazine. In the issue, she dispelled the myth that she’s always angry. Leakes explained, “NeNe Leakes is fabulous, confident and she knows who the hell she is. NeNe Leakes is not an angry woman. Some days I’m angry, and everybody is. I just happen to be on television and the camera captures me when I’m angry.” (I love how she refers to herself in third person.) She continues, “Just imagine doing a reality show. What would they capture about you? They’d capture you on your period, pissed off, angry with your man, happy, going shopping. But they’re only going to put in the things that are most interesting. I’m not an angry black woman; I’m actually a cool ass black woman.” Although the 43-year-old reality star bumped heads with her ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ co-star, Star Jones, the two seemed to have called a truce. In non-apprentice news, NeNe is unsure if she will return for another season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
