Hustle Harder: LeBron James Owns Part of Liverpool Football Club

Look, I’m not going to front. I’m no sports head. I know the basics. But what I do know a tad-bit more about is business and hustle. Both of which Miami Heat player, Lebron James, possesses. 26-year-old James who has endorsements with Nike, Sprite, McDonald’s and a host of other international brands, is now a minority owner of of the legendary Liverpool Football Club. According to the Wall Street Journal, “James is joining forces with renowned hedge-fund manager John Henry and veteran Hollywood producer Tom Werner in a deal that brings together one of the biggest stars in sports and two of the world’s most renowned teams. He is teaming up with Fenway Sports Group.The deal between Mr. James and Fenway Sports Group will give Mr. James a minority interest in the soccer club Liverpool, which FSG owns. FSG, which also owns the Boston Red Sox, is partnering with Mr. James’s sports-marketing firm, LRMR Branding & Marketing to become the exclusive world-wide representative for Mr. James.
