For now, Wesley Snipe’s Staying in Jail
Some unfortunate news for 48-year-old actor Wesley Snipes and his family. Monday, the Supreme Court announced that they will not hear an appeal regarding his federal tax evasion charges. Prosecutors said Snipes had earned $40million from 1999 but did not file any tax returns and had been involved in a tax resisters group. He had said he was not involved and blamed the failure to file on his financial advisor. Snipes has been in jail since December and was sentenced to three years in prison.
