Jay-Z Beats Diddy in Forbes’ “Cash Kings”

Numbers don’t lie. Shawn Carter, better known as Jay-Z, sits at the number one spot on Forbes’ Hip-Hop Cash Kings List. Forbes‘ Hip-Hop Cash Kings list is compiled according to how much rappers banked over the past 12 months from album sales, touring, merchandise deals, business ventures, etc. According to the list, he’s earned the position as top earner, by bringing in $37 million in the past 12 months. And this ain’t Jigga’s 1st time at #1; it’s his fourth time in five years. Diddy came in a close second, bringing in $35 million (half from his partnership with Diageo’s Ciroc vodka). Kanye West is ranked third.
