Jay-Z First to Headline Show in New Brooklyn Venue

Music mogul, Jay-Z will announce on Monday that he will be the first to headline a show at the newly built Barclays Center in Brooklyn. As part owner of the New Jersey Nets (soon to be Brooklyn Nets) it’s only fitting for Mr. Carter to headline the venue’s first event, since it will be the new home for the Basketball team beginning with the 2012/2013 NBA season.
Peep the groundbreaking ceremony (this past March) and Jay-Z’s comedic introduction from Brooklyn’s president, Marty Markowitz.
