Willow Smith Prepping for Roc Nation Album

Willow Smith & Lady Gaga
Not only is she known as the daughter of two of the most influential people in the entertainment business, but Willow Smith made a name for herself last year with her platinum hit “Whip my hair.” Kids, tweens and teens found her song magnetic, especially with the cute dance that went along with it. And in September last year, Jay-Z announced her addition to the Roc Nation team and praising her personality saying, “I believe in superstars. I believe in big records and superstars, and I think she has both.” In an interview with MTV, producer Jukebox, who was responsible for “Whip my hair,” discussed some details about Willow and her upcoming album. He described the album as a myriad of sounds and comments that,
“Willow is kind of a combination of what ‘Whip My Hair’ was. Willow just isn’t a pop star, she isn’t just an urban artist; she’s very international. A lot of her music has a very big influence of everything from rock to pop to hip-hop.”
He also shared that they are in the process of finishing the 8 or 9 track album but of course it is a gradual process as “she’s a 10-year-old girl. She’s gotta have a life, she’s gotta be a kid.” I can’t wait to hear the finished product.
