Was There Drama At the Funeral of Jackie Christie’s Mother? Peep Her Daughter’s Vent.
Losing a loved one is never easy, ESPECIALLY when drama is involved. And according to the looks of things on Twitter, there was certainly some drama involved with the family of Jackie Christie, who is a cast member of VH1’s Basketball Wives: LA. Jackie Christie is married to Doug Christie and last week she announced on the Tom Joyner Morning Show, that her mother had lost her battle with cancer.
Over the weekend, the Christie family buried Jackie’s mother, but according to Jackie’s 22-year-old daughter, Takari Lee Christie, there seems to be some drama and unresolved issues. Early Sunday morning, Takari took to twitter to vent on the death of her grandmother and Jackie’s behavior. Keep in mind, this is ALL alleged. She tweeted:
“The Peace I Feel In My Heart… No One Acted Crazy At Grandmas Funeral… my cousins and I Celebrated Hard..becuz we worked so hard..But something that stuck out is how Certain ppl ignored my sis and I through the whole funeral..burial…and the reception.. not a word..My sister dipped because they came to try to get her now my mom got the police questioning me saying I’m holding her against her will…She told the police I have mental issues and took her kids… she’s fake crying like she does when she talks about grandma on bbwla…She just made us pack grandmas house in @ 1 hr…@jackiechristie… really just told the cops..I’m mentally ill and took my little sister and she knows I have her…Hahahahaha she’s pissed the cops said it wasn’t a kidnapping and that chantel is grown and don’t have to be forced to go with her…She is putting all her sisters out of her houses because my sister refuses to go with her.. wow…I bet she’s a mess now… Chantel and Me r free… finally and so is Grandma… only ppl left for her to torture is doug and dougie…Until Doug Wake up and realize that is NOT love… just some BS…OMG I almost forgot about the Tom Joyner Interview…. LIES… I Never apologized she called fake crying begging me to forgive her…Begged me to allow her to redeem herself… then when grandma passed she begged for no one to say anything on the net becus she was giving…Tom Joyner an exclusive.. lmao.. some broads r really funny… u may fool the world but u can’t fool me and chani jackie.. so stop trying…Doug Just Let Jackie End His Relationship With His Daughter… Following Her Like A Puppy… The way She Handled That Situation Was Not Cool…Grandma gave me a forgiving heart.. AMEN!! I 100% agree with you! I am a 23-year-old woman with a 16-year-old sister and I can say that I would not EVER speak of my mother is this type of tone in my entire life! We may have not had the best life or the best things, especially NOT a “comfy mansion” as her daughters spoke of in the show, but one thing I do know is that my mom tried the BEST she could and I LOVE and most of all RESPECT her for all that she has done for me and my sister! Of course we don’t truthfully know the entire situation. Only Jackie and Doug, their children, and God knows the full TRUTHFUL stories, however, no matter what may have happened, a person still should NOT PURPOSELY bash the TWO people who gave them live and in their cases, that is Jackie and Doug. If the situation is that deeply wrenching and heart felt, then each of you really need to sit down, go to your bibles, and call on The Lord to speak to you and help heal your broken hearts as well. This child is hurting, and is lacking proper coping skills (things you learn from mom), yet at the same time I can’t help to recognize signs of jealousy toward her mom. I sense insecurity as well. I live in the same neighborhood as the Christie’s, and while they are quiet at home (no wild parties, no paparazzi, etc), can I just say that they are in a perpetual state of “Estate Sale” at their house. Honestly, at least one a month they have a U-Haul at the house, and then the next weekend there is an “Estate Sale”.
