Soulja Boy Released From Jail, Peep His Post Jail Twitter Message

Early Tuesday morning, 21-year-old rapper/actor Soulja Boy (DeAndre Cortez Way) was arrested for possession of marijuana, in Temple, GA. According to TMZ, the incident happened around 3 a.m. Soulja, along with four other guys, were pulled over for a traffic violation. Allegedly, cops found a “substantial amount” of marijuana and cash inside ($70,000) the vehicle,” along with guns. The weed and guns were found inside a briefcase that belonged to Soulja. Soulja and the other men were held in Carroll County Jail. Early Wednesday morning, they were released and Soulja hopped on twitter to give fans an update (I suppose):





P.S. Some are saying that perhaps this was a publicity stunt for his new movie, Soulja Boy The Movie, a Never Say Never that was released on DVD Monday. I’m not sold on that theory, but who knows….

I just dont understand some artist! You have more money than you know what to do with and you get caught with drugs in your car??? Man, if you gotta smoke, do it in one of your many rooms you have in your giant mansion, dummy. Why do it in public, or in your car? You got areested for something a regular dude would. I dont know why “we” condone such stupidity.
