Tyler Perry & Kim Kardashian To Make Movie Magic + Are We Surprised?

Friday evening, Kim Kardashian announced some exciting news via Twitter:

According to Deadline, Kardashian will co-star in Tyler Perry’s, The Marriage Counselor. The movie, which is based off of Perry’s stage play, will be a Lionsgate film, directed by Perry, with shooting beginning in Atlanta next week (October 26th). So what is the film about?

The film tells the story of Judith, an Ivy League-educated relationship expert who makes her living dispensing marital advice, but is so bored with her own marriage that she breaks her professional code and cheats with a smooth talking client and realizes that she made a huge mistake. Jurnee Smollett plays the marriage counselor and Kardashian will play Ava, a co-worker who gives Judith a big city makeover and new confidence as she struggles with her personal issues.

Meanwhile, after the news hit, I checked out twitter to see folks’ reaction and it seemed to be pretty mixed. Some were excited and expressed how the Kardashian’s are a business force to be reckoned with, while others commented that #HoesBeWinning (suggesting that Kardashian is a garden tool). Soooooo, are we EXCITED or ANNOYED that Kardashian will be featured in a Tyler Perry movie?
