Johnny Gill on Beyonce’s Ode to New Edition, “It’s such an honor….”

Johnny Gill (of the popular R&B group, New Edition) noticed the similarities in Beyonce’s “Love on Top” video and New Edition’s “If It Isn’t Love” video and is flattered. Gill told Sister 2 Sister magazine,
“How cool was that?….That was so cool….There’s no more Michael Jackson, but I think she’s a beast to begin with….It’s such an honor to have someone who knew, and knows, her history and to be aware of where it all started.”
