American Express Sues Wesley Snipes for $29K Credit Card Bill

In 2010 Wesley Snipes was sentenced to three years in prison for failing to file his tax returns. The actor is currently still in prison, and scheduled to be released in 2013. But now, he’s been hit with other legal challenges. American Express is claiming that Snipes failed to pay a $29,343.03 credit card bill that he had before he went to jail. They now want Snipes to pay the full balance, PLUS interest AND the cost for obtaining an attorney for this lawsuit. No official comment or statement about the debt has been shared from Snipes’ camp. Ouch.
