2011 Soul Train Awards Premieres Sunday, Nov. 27th + Hosted by, Cedric “The Entertainer”

The 2011 SOUL TRAIN AWARDS will premiere on both CENTRIC and BET on Sunday, November 27 at 9:00 p.m. Hosted by Cedric “The Entertainer,” viewers can expect performances from Freddie Jackson, Cee Lo Green, Common, Chrisette Michelle, Mary Mary, Marsha Ambrosius, Musiq Soulchild, Anthony Hamilton, Tamar Braxton, Original 7ven (The Group Formerly Known As The Time), Natalie Cole, Jill Scott, Robin Thicke, Melanie Fiona, Keith Sweat, Bebe Winans, Joe, Lalah Hathaway and Kenny Latimore.



This year’s highlights also include a Gladys Knight tribute performance by Natalie Cole; a hilarious skit with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer and hip-hop pioneer Doug E. Fresh; an inspiring Heavy D tribute with Goodie Mob, Cee Lo Green and Big Daddy Kane; a performance by Cee Lo Green and Melanie Fiona; an Earth, Wind & Fire tribute performance; and an explosive comeback performance by the Original 7ven (The Group Formerly Known As The Time).
