Lil Boosie Gets 8 More Years Added To Prison Term
29 year old rapper Lil Boosie (real name Torrence Hatch) has racks on racks on racks of prison time. Since June 2010 he’s been behind bars for committing a first-degree murder. Then in June of 2011, he was accused of:
- one count of first degree murder,
- two counts of conspiracy to introduce contraband into a penal institution, three counts of possession with intent to distribute narcotics,
- and three counts of conspiracy to commit possession with intent to distribute narcotics.
Boosie claims he’s innocent, but if he’s found guilty he could possibly face the death penalty. It has also been confirmed that the East Baton Rouge, Louisiana DA’s office is trying link Lil Boosie to at least FIVE MORE MURDER cases.
And just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse for the rapper, Tuesday, 8 more years were added to his current prison time, after he pled guilty to conspiring to smuggle codeine, marijuana, and ecstasy into two prisons, while he was serving time. Boosie asked the judge, Mike Erwin, if he could be admitted into a drug rehab program. The judge agreed to officially recommend it. Boosie feels that he’s being targeted unfairly, by the law. He explained,
“[I’m here] because of the songs I made, before I was indicted, about the police in Baton Rouge and what’s going on here. There’s a lot with our record label that the system don’t like.”
And of his drug addiction, Lil Boosie told TMZ:
“Don’t worry about me I am getting help with my drug addiction and I am accepting full responsibility for the choice I made. I am going to fight the false murder charge till the end. Love you all.”
