Some Potent Weed Named After Beyonce’s Baby :: OG Blue Ivy

People just cannot get enough of 30-year-old Beyonce Knowles, her 42 year-old husband, Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter, and their 8 day old newborn, Blue Ivy Carter. While Blue was still in the womb, folks were claiming that she didn’t really exist. And while she was being birthed (on January 7^th), folks were rioting that she got too many hospital privileges.

And now that she’s born, people have gone even further, by naming a type of marijuana after her. That’s right, legal weed dispensaries in Hollywood and other parts of the West Coast have named a string of weed after the baby. They’re calling it “OG Blue Ivy”. Although baby Blue is not the first to have this honor (weed strings have also been named after stars like Bob Marley, Elvis, and Tom Cruise), she is definitely the youngest. But we all already knew this kid was destined to be the youngest and best at a lot of things!
