Remembering :: Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Today, the nation honors the memory of Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., who would have been 83 years old today. 1986 was the year that a federal holiday honoring Dr. King was first observed and in 1994, Congress designated it officially as a national day of service. Here is footage of Dr. King’s “I Have a Dream Speech” address at the March on Washington, August 28, 1963.
