A day before the funeral of Whitney Houston, Yolanda Adams gave a show-stopping performance singing “I Love the Lord”, as a tribute at the NAACP Image Awards. Before her performance she explained,
“We really are losing a light. Despite all the dark stuff people will say, we’re losing an angel because she really was. I think what happens with people is they want to be loved…”
