‘Basketball Wives’ Producers Pissed At Jennifer Williams’ Face Slap Lawsuit
We hear that the producers of Vh1’s Basketball Wives are HIGHLY upset with the current lawsuit that Jennifer Williams has with Evelyn Lozada’s assistant, Nia Crooks. Those close to the show’s production team share that Jennifer was already on thin ice with securing a spot on the next season and this lawsuit isn’t helping her position. Allegedly, prior to the altercation with Nia, Jennifer never had a problem with fights that could potentially occur on the show and they think that the lawsuit is a publicity stunt to create relevance. A source added:
“Filing broad lawsuits when you are as much to blame for the drama, is not the way to get your contract extended.”

I don’t know how they could blame her for being “as much to blame”… If the lawsuit is between her and Nia (who isn’t even on the case) I don’t see why the producers would be upset. Do they really want their cast members to be subjected to physical abuse with no type of consequences for the people who commit the crimes. Yes, smacking someone is assault and thus a crime. Nia should be happy that’s all she has to deal with.

Let me get this straight, she gets slapped in the face and she is not allowed to do anything about, other than get into a nasty cat fight to hype up viewers!?!? She has every right to sue! This is craziness!

It’s a set-up…And I see that Monkey Evelyn all over it!!
It was definitely a set up and Nia is stupid for letting Ev, Shaunie and Tami set her up to do it.

OK- let’s remember who the “EXECUTIVE PRODUCER” is Shaunie. This is once again going to prove that as a business women- she is slowly losing ground. They all like to praise her for the checks and the airtime however when the time comes to pay up in other ways she’s pist. Shaunie knew what was gonna go down that is why she waited to talk about it then. Jen- all of your seasons on the show she have taught you one thing-RATINGS are most important. You don’t have to worry you’ll be back. Cause if not- Shaunie will have to answer questions that she knows the answers too but will fake it like its all a shock. She knew about all the fights before they were fights but notice her ass never wants a part. Gloria- was gonna serve her up but she said I was “gonna” slap her. Why not? Its ok to let the other ladies act like goons why not you? Queen Drama.
If.anything, Evelyn needs to be the one taken off the show. All she does is bully and pick fights. I find it funny thst she can run her mouth about any and everybody, but when the tables turn she’s ready to throw blows. Ev needs to get the plank out of her eye before she points the finger at someone else. My child is 4 and she has more sense that
Ev ever will. Always watch the dogs that bring the bone. If Shaunie was smart, she would get rid of Evelyn because she’s nothing but trouble.
If they get rid of Jen, it would be just a matter of time before Evelyn target someone else. How can you be an example to your daughter if all she sees is her mother acting like a child throwing a fit all the time. Honestly, I have stopped tunning in due to the stupid drama. There was nothing said or done on the show for it to get that extreme. Now they wanna tuck their tails and run because Jen is filing a suit against the. You made your bed ladies…..smh.
