Fantasia Returns to Twitter :: Explains Why She Dissed R.Kelly, New Baby & Why She Quit Twitter

After over 10 months of being M.I.A from twitter, Fantasia decided to pop back up on the social media site, for her fans, this past weekend. She made her introduction back to the site by first thanking God, then going on to talk about how much she loves her fans and missed interacting with them, while she was gone. She also talked about how the birth of her 4 month old son, and working on her upcoming CD has been keeping her busy during her social media hiatus. And she didn’t forget to explain why she dissed R.Kelly in March for performing too short of a set, at a show. Peep her tweet quotes below.

On appreciating her fans:

“I want to 1st off thank God for ALLLL that he has done in my life, for without him I am NOTHING???? BACK TO LIFE BACK TO REALITY. Hello hello hello my FAMILY yesssss it is I & I have missed you all so so much. We have so much to catch up on. I have so much to bring you guys up to date on but I promise I will get to it. Just remember I’ve been M.I.A. for quite some time..Lol…lol of course I will make you guys feel like the family we are because I LOVE you all so much muwhaaaa…I’m going to get myself together here but I promise I will be back with you guys…I am just so overwhelmed by all the love & open arms from my Twitter family. I can’t thank my fans, friends or my family enough. “

On the birth of her son:

“I told you guys that I would do my very best to bring you all up to date so here we go, buckle up my sisters & brothers muwhaaa…As you know I gave birth on December 13th to my son Dallas Xavier Barrino who is now 4months old…Zion is now 10yrs old & she is such a wonderful big sister & is so happy to have a little brother.”

On her hiatus from twitter:

“I felt such a void & a disconnect from the social media & my true fans that I thought long & hard about this come back…I’ve NEVER had a Facebook acct. & this is the only Twitter acct I’ve ever had so I made my come back personal for my twit family.”

On her upcoming album:

“I am currently working on my next CD guys & I am overwhelmed by what I have accomplished thus far…I’ve got some great songs that I think you guys will love. It’s different but it is FANTASIA…I’ve been working & giving you guys music & all of me this year 2012 every since I delivered Dallas & I’m so glad to be back. Valentines day in Chicago was my 1st show of 2012 & I will never forget the Chicago love???”

On her R.Kelly diss:

“CIAA was great for me as well, another big moment for me especially being in my hometown. R Kelly, Doug E. Fresh & Jermaine Dupree were all such an inspiration to me they were in the building & they have all my love…That night was one to remember…lol There was some behind the scene drama that took place someone snatched money from the door…the show was delayed about 90 minutes R. Kelly WHO I HAVE GREAT RESPECT FOR was sick and later hospitalized that night…I am such an R Kelly fan I love his style his music his character & I went with my fist pumped waiting for 12 play…lol…I wanted to hear him perform so bad & was told he was going to perform 6-8 songs to later find out he was NEVER booked to perform…It is so sad that folk do these type of things to us in the industry but I know from experience that it happens…Kellz hit the stage & I was side stage center with my fingers snapping…When he hit the stage & sang a few lines and shut it downnnnn baby the true FAN in me responded, I could have cried…lol…When I got up I talked about it but HAD NO IDEA HE WAS NEVER supposed to perform just appear, that was an honor for what he did do…I told the people I came to give them their monies worth but I promise it was innocent i was just energized & ready to rock…With all that said I want to say this I LOVE R KELLY & I apologize for those choice of words. You are such a man of power & wisdom.”
