Gladiators-In-Suits :: Shonda Rhimes’ “Scandal Returns” for Second Season

Great news for fans of ABC’s new political series, Scandal! The show, created by Shonda Rhimes, features Kerry Washington (as Olivia Pope), Columbus Short (as Harrison Wright) and other A-listers, made it debuted this past April, picking up 7.3 million viewers over the course of the season, and will air it’s last episode this Thursday. And over the weekend, the show’s creator confirmed on twitter that the show had been picked up for a second season.

No word on how many episodes will be included for next season.
