Reporter (Vitalii Sediuk) Says He Kissed Will Smith Because David Letterman Did It

Vitalii Sediuk, the man whose face met the back of Will Smith’s hand at the Men In Black III premiere in Moscow, is finally answering the question that everyone wants to know: what the h*ll was he thinking when he tried to kiss Will Smith? In an interview with HipHollywood.com, Sediuk started off the interview with an apology for his behavior. He then went on to say that Will Smith is someone who he deeply respects, and that he grew up watching him.
“After analyzing the story, and I had three days, I can say that it was emotional impulse… When I met him in Moscow finally, I just wanted to do something not extraordinary, but to impress him… Will Smith himself kissed David Letterman. Knowing that, I thought maybe his reaction would be different.”
Sediuk says that he still wishes to meet Will Smith one day. I wonder what the odds of that happening are now? Anyhoo, here’s the full interview.
