“Family Matters” Actress Kellie Williams Accused of Stealing Money via DC Council

Look who we’ve found in the “Lost & Found” section? Kellie Williams or better known as Laura Winslow (from the popular show entitled Family Matters) has found herself in quite the predicament recently.

Williams was accused of helping former councilman DC Harry Thomas Jr. steal money through government funds and filing false tax returns. Harry was sentenced to 38 months in prison after admitting to stealing $350,000 in government funding. According to HuffPost, Williams, moved back to the D.C. area after “Family Matters” ended in 1998 and started a youth arts training group called the Kellie Williams Programs that had been dormant since 2008. Williams, who now lives in Prince George’s County, Md., hasn’t responded as of yet.
