[Editorial] Ford Hosts Dinner, ‘Ride & Drive’ & More For Essence Music Festival

Over the weekend, the Jasmine Brand and a number of other media outlets (MTV, EURWeb, Rolling Out, Loop 21, Huffington Post, Always A List, SimplyRides, Divas & Dorks and more) headed to New Orleans for the popular Essence Music Festival, providing non-stop coverage for Essence’s Press Junket. One of the official sponsors of the festival was Ford Motor Company. In addition to providing us with airport and hotel transportation, Ford also held an exciting ‘Ride & Drive’, allowing us to test drive their latest and greatest wheels. Although I can’t drive a stick (only when I’m barefoot–judge me!), I tested my talents (with a Ford driver’s assistance) on the road with a 2012 Mustang (see below).

Lastly, our weekend also included a sponsored dinner with Ford representatives. Peep some of the pix.

For all things Ford, follow them @Ford.
