It’s A Coincidence : Solange Responds To Sister Beyonce’s Similar Box Braid Hair Style

This week, Beyonce debuted a new hair-do—waist length box braids. But Beyonce wearing braids is nothing new. Back in her Destiny’s Child days, she often rocked corn-rows and such. And as you know, Beyonce’s sister, Solange, is known for rocking similar braided hair styles.

While some thought that Solange’s hair preference may’ve influenced Beyonce’s new hair choice, Solange says (or tweets) otherwise. On twitter she wrote that the two Knowles’ similar hair style was not on purpose:
