NBA Baller, Basketball Wives’ Matt Barnes Arrested In Manhattan Beach

NBA baller (he’s a free agent at this point) Matt Barnes has been arrested…again. Monday evening, reportedly he was arrested for an outstanding traffic warrant, and for popping slick to the arresting officers. So what happened? Allegedly, Matt (who regularly appears on Basketball Wives LA) was walking in Manhattan Beach when he was approached by Manhattan Beach PD, officers ran a check on him and discovered that he had a $26,000 unpaid traffic warrant for driving on a suspended license. There was some sort of verbal exchange between Matt and the officers (they say that Matt made verbal threats). We also hear he resisted the arresting officer, so he got a traffic violation and a felony for resisting. He was held on $51,000 bail (part of it for the unpaid warrant and the other part for the unpaid warrant). After being released, Matt hopped on twitter, communicating his frustration:
Funny how a small situation turns into a “Urban Legend”.. A $26,000 traffic ticket?? Come on now smh.. Have a good night. Oh.. For all you perfect people out there looking at me w/your nose in the air, who have “NEVER” missed a court date for a “TRAFFIC VIOLATION” God Bless You…
Meanwhile, Matt’s girlfriend/baby-mama, Gloria Barnes tweeted:
What a night…
On a lighter note, the upcoming season of Basketball Wives: LA is being filmed. Here’s a photo of the two:
