Honey, I’m Home : Floyd Mayweather Released From Jail

Floyd Mayweather is a free man! Early Friday morning, the professional boxer was released from his Las Vegas jail cell (the Clark County Detention Center to be exact) for good behavior. This is a full month premature of his scheduled release date. The boxer was serving a 3-month sentence for being involved in a domestic scuffle with his ex-girlfriend, Josie Harris, back in September of 2010, while their two children were present. Mayweather’s legal team had been trying to get his time served switched to house arrest because it was “ailing his health causing him to lose muscle tone by him not partaking in as many calories as his usual diet consisted of and him not enjoying tap water”.

Money Mayweather was all smiles, as photogs snapped him being released. Casually dressed, Mayweather wore a Miami Heat cap and a gray hooded sweatshirt. His close family and friends were there to great him –including his 12-year-old daughter, Iyanna Mayweather, his manager, Leonard Ellerbe, Floyd’s fiancé, Shantel Jackson (who just celebrated her birthday sponsored by yours truly) and 50 Cent. He drove off in a blue Bentley sedan. Welcome home Floyd!
