Ochocinco Loses Endorsement + Returns to Twitter Depressed

It may be safe to say that Chad Ochocinco Johnson (and his wife) is having the worst-week-ever. After news hit that he and his wife, Evelyn Lozada were in a domestic dispute–he’s been released from the Dolphins, their spin-off reality show has been cancelled, not to mention that his wife has filed for divorce. What’s more? He’s lost his endorsement deal with drink company, Zico. The company released a statement explaining:
“In light of recent events involving Mr. Johnson, we have decided to terminate our relationship…The values we espouse, through our employees, our customers and our brand, are central to our mission. We have taken this proactive step to demonstrate just how important those values are.”
And we anticipate, he may continue to lose endorsements. And on another not-so-pleasant note, Wednesday, Ocho returned to twitter. Of what we assume is a subliminal message about his current situation, he wrote:
I haven’t had to tread water in a long time… special thank you to my fans…family…friends for keeping me afloat…
No additional tweets or comments from Evelyn’z camp. P.S. What do you think of Ocho’s lost endorsement deal?
