Woman Alleges Actor Clifton Powell Raped Her

A Louisiana woman has claimed that actor Clifton Powell raped her in 2011. What allegedly happened? According to the suit, the woman (named Kiyante Myers) says that initially she consented to sex with the ‘Friday’ actor, but when it turned rough, she asked him to stop . She claims that he refused, placed his hands over her face and raped her. So why did she wait an entire year? Allegedly, she went to cops about the incident last year, an investigation was conducted, but cops didn’t feel there was enough evidence to prove Powell committed a crime and they closed the case. Myers has taken her claims to federal court in Louisiana, she’s seeking damages in excess of $75k. “Mr. Powell absolutely denies these false accusations and plans on pursuing all legal remedies available to him against his accuser.”
