[New Music] Diggy Simmons Takes Direct Aim At J.Cole In New ‘Fall Down’ Track
Summer is over, but apparently beef isn’t. The lyrical beef between Diggy Simmons (real name Daniel Dwayne Simmons III) and J.Cole (real name Jermaine Lamar Cole) has heated up again. Last week, during a NC show with Kendrick Lamar, J.Cole did a freestyle, in which he took a few shots at Diggy. He rhymed:
“The game need balance, woke up this morning to the rumors of ni**as wildin’. Picture me hating on a young ni**a with talent, album flopped but it’s cool he caked up on his allowance.”
Fast forward to the present day and compliments of DDOT, we’ve snagged Diggy’s response. In a track titled ‘Fall Down’, featuring Veronica Monet (who sorta kinda reminds me of Rihanna), 17-year-old Diggy fires back. He rhymes:
“I guess I rattled you, snaggle tooth, you know better. Thought J. stand for Jermaine not Jetsetter. See me and shake my hand, coppin’ pleas in person. Now you act like less than a man, mentioning me in verses. You used to have dreams of my big sister kissing you, now you having nightmares of her little brother dissing you.”
Ouch! Check the track out below.
