Shaq Entertainment announced the addition of two new series, Clean Ops and Backstage Confidential, to the recently launched Comedy Shaq Network (www.YouTube.com/ComedyShaq). This new slate of programming will bring personal interviews, sidesplitting humor and nail biting suspense to the expanding network.
Backstage Confidential, hosted by the beautiful Gloria Govan (Basketball Wives), is a fresh mesh between Inside the Actor’s Studio and Entertainment Tonight. This show is a personal, insightful and funny interview series spotlighting some of today’s most famous comedians. Kevin Hart, DeRay Davis, Chris Tucker, Tommy Davidson, D.L. Hughley and Bill Bellamy, just to name a few, are among those featured in the first installment of Backstage Confidential. The series will give you an up close and personal look at some of comedy’s superstars as well as the industries most anticipated new comers. Each episode will bring the laughs through stand-up comedy performance clips and insight through one-on-one interviews.Another addition to the Comedy Shaq Network’s new slate of programming is the new short film series, Clean Ops. Also starring Govan, this quality production written by Sylvia Hillman and Michael Anthony Snowden, and directed by Bernard Gourley, is sure to deliver high action, thrill and suspense to digital urban entertainment. Seemingly an undercover vigilante institute, “Clean Ops” is an agency that trains inner city kids in performing arts by day and the art of being an expert assassin by night. Govan, who trained with top professionals for her role as an assassin, delivers an action packed performance as “V”, a classical ballerina by day and a contracted hit woman by night. Very little is known about V’s past; where she came from, how the agency found her or how long she’s been there. The only thing you need to be concerned with is becoming V’s next target.
