Oprah Set To Make Cake From Lance Armstrong TV Ads + Numbers In for “Real Husbands Of Hollywood”

Oprah’s OWN network will be bringing in bank for her two-night interview with Lance Armstrong on “Oprah’s Next Chapter.” The two-part special will air Thursday and Friday night, and viewers can expect to see Armstrong talk about his use of performance-enhancing drugs that he denied using for years. Many sponsors have contacted the network to secure advertisement slots during the special, and premium prices for the slots are close to selling out.

And in other cable-TV news, the numbers are out and both of BET’s highly anticipated new shows were the most watched of Tuesday night. “Real Husbands of Hollywood” and “Second Generation Wayans” debuted at numbers 1 and 2 respectively for cable originals, with 6.5 and 4.7 million viewers. Stephen G. Hill tweeted his excitement:

Let’s see how the rest of the season goes. Will you tune in next week?
