Ear Hustlin’: Is First Lady Michelle Obama Covering Vogue?
First Lady Michelle Obama has set the fashion world on fire with her savvy Inauguration ensembles and birthday bangs. Now there is speculation that she is shooting a second cover with Vogue Magazine. According to reports, a Vogue photography team was spotted at the White House yesterday. A White House correspondent confirmed via Twitter,
“Vogue also had a representative on the press plane to and from Las Vegas Tuesday.”
President Obama and Michelle’s schedules were clear, opening up the possibility that he could featured in the magazine as well. Beyonce is rumored to be on the March cover, so Michelle could possibly appear on the April or May issue. Vogue editor Anna Wintour was a very public supporter and hosted several re-election fundraising events during his campaign. Michelle Obama first appeared on the March 2009 issue of the magazine, so we all shall see.
