Ear Hustlin’ : Meet The New Face of Basketball Wives, Tasha Marbury
As they say, pictures and social media, speak a thousand plus words. As you know, reality TV junkies are gearing up for a new season of Basketball Wives. And the biggest question always is, who got axed (we know that part — Royce Reed, Kenya Bell, Jennifer Williams, etc.) and who’s the new girl. For the past month, there have been rumblings that Tasha Marbury is the freshest face of the VH1 show. So exactly who she is? Tasha was married to NBA baller Stephon Marbury. The two got married 10-years- ago and have two children together.
Reportedly, the happy couple broke up because of his infidelity. And while her name has been thrown in the reality TV mix, lately, she’s also been on the blogs for a recent unfortunate incident. [Allegedly, Tasha has a stalker by the name of Monet Merchand, who harasses her and her ex-NBA hubby on the internet. The woman claims she had sex with Stephon. Tasha filed a report in NYC, earlier this year.] Now the bigger question is, are we 100% sure of her participation? Well, uh, no. However, in addition to the rumor mill, we’ve caught her out a few times, chilling w/ the cast. She even traveled, with camera crews and the gang, to Evelyn Lozada’s Vida Lux show for London Fashion Week.
Anywho, stay tuned as we continue to dig, literally :)
