[WATCH] Tashera Simmons Reacts To Watching Estranged Husband, DMX, On Fix My Life
As expected, it was tough for fans, critics and viewers to watch the first episode of the new season of OWN’s Iyanla Vanzant: Fix My Life, featuring DMX (Earl Simmons). For 90 minutes, folk watched in entertainment or disappointment as Iyanla and X tried to get to the core of his issues with drug addiction, women and his troubled relationship with his son. On twitter, X’s estranged wife, Tashera Simmons, along with the son that was featured on the show, Xavier, openly tweeted their emotions for the world to see. Tashera wrote:

DMX tore me up last night boy…I’ve seen this man pray and talk about God. A man that stops in mid concert to have hundreds of thousands of people that he leads in prayer but has so many demons he has to fight in his life… he needs deep healing; detox and special love that only God can give him. Sending him Prayers! It was a great story and revalation of whats real, not only for him or teshera, but for xavier. i am sure last nights show helped a lot of viewers…kudos to#iyanlafixmylife
This was the most powerful REALITY, #Iyanlafixmylife yet. Wow…my heart went out to ALL of them. Drug addiction is no joke & Xavier is quite a young man and very smart. Tashera has done a great job with him, considering all that they’ve been through. DMX really should take a look back at this show; the man is not stupid by far but needs all the prayers, love & support that he can get. He is deeply damaged & when your weak like that, it is the devil’s playground. It was very sad & very REAL to see him in that state. Lets keep Earl Simmons and his family in prayer.
