[VIDEO] K.Michelle Gives Back, Uses ‘Saving Our Daughters’ For ‘Rebel Against’ Campaign
In addition to entertaining us weekly on VH1’s ‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta‘, off camera, K.Michelle appears to have a softer side. Recently, the soulful singer was caught joining forces with ‘Saving Our Daughters‘, to launch her ‘Rebel Against’ campaign.
The singer explained:
I teamed up with Saving Our Daughters to just empower women on different things that might make them feel inferior, whether it might be violence, racism, or anything that they might be struggling or facing from day to day.
Peep some of the behind-the-scenes footage from her shoot, which included Mimi Faust, along with other inspirational women.
K.Michelle isn’t the only celeb linking up with Saving Our Daughters, a nonprofit whose goal is to get young girls, teens and women in general, to discuss key issues and educate the public about bullying, (cyber, gossip, face-to-face,…), date abuse, hate crimes, school violence and violence against women. Folk like Kelly Rowland, Mimi Faust, KeKe Palmer and a host of others have linked their celeb power to the organization. Click here to learn more.
