[Video] Lisa Raye Squashes Work Beef With Stacy Dash, Plays Stripper In New Film, ‘Lapdance’
Lisa Raye McCoy and Stacy Dash have squashed their beef off camera (reportedly, the two had some serious issues on the set of ‘Single Ladies‘) to work together a new film called ‘Lapdance‘.
And as the title indicates, the backdrop of the film involves some work on the pole. As you’ll recall, some argue that Lisa Raye’s break-out role was that of a stripper named Diamond in ‘The Players Club’. According to Carlton Jordan, stars Lisa Raye, Carmen Electra, Lynn Whitfield, Stacy Dash, and a few new faces star in the new film. It is produced by Datari Turner (Video Girl, Dysfunctional Friends, LUV, etc.) Gordon Bijelonic, and Michael Becker, and is based on a story by Turner and Greg Carter who also directed. The film’s plot is about:
An aspiring actress makes a pact with her fiance to take a job as an exotic dancer to care for her cancer stricken father. Once the pact the couple made is broken, there lives are changed forever.
Check out the teaser below.
The film will screen at this years ABFF Film festival in Miami in June.
