It’s ESPYs time in Los Angeles, which means retired and professional athletes, sports junkies and a few groupies (no judgement) here and there will be partying in Hollywood. And with a ton of parties in LA, we’re trying our darndest to keep up w all the celebrity stalking. This week, Lisa Leslie and Jalen Rose kicked off their ‘Champions for Choice in Education‘ cocktail party. Held @ the swanky Ritz Carlton, the purpose of the event is to recognize the opportunities athletes and celebs have to make a difference in the lives of children.

We were there firsthand chatting w professional athletes, sports journalists and actors about how important a child’s education is to their future in society. And of course we did a bit of shallow celeb stalking and spotted actress Elise Neal, actress/director Regina King, actress/singer Dawn Lewis, ESPN’s Jalen Rose, Vivica A. Foxx, Stephen A. Smith, NFL’er Vince Young, Louis Gossett Jr., Derek Fisher, Garcelle Beauvais, couple Shanice (Wilson) and Flexx, Kellita Smith, Kindred and the Family Soul, fitness trainer Jeanette Jenkins and celebrity publicists Kita Williams and Monique Jackson (of Pub Diva Group). Check out some of the pix.
