Alarming news for singer Jhene Aiko. This week, the  25-year-old was involved in a serious car accident, resulting in her canceling a schedule appearance. The news was shared by a personal friend, who wrote:

Please send my beautiful @JheneAiko some Love. She’s in the hospital from a bad car accident & won’t be able to perform her LSU show on Wed … All she is concerned about is her fans. Send her some encouragement please. We’re all praying @JheneAiko..Update on @JheneAiko: she’s going to be fine, she has a broken wrist & really bruised up and some stitches but keep praying 4 her..

UPDATED: Monday afternoon, Jhene shared the following message:

thank u all for the prayers . I get to go home …. just a broken wrist , chipped tooth and stitches in my chin . most importantly Nami is ok , not a scratch … as she was also in the car , in the backseat with me . I’m also thankful that @sonnieoryan and @miyokochilombo are ok also ! Be safe out there everybody and thank u again for the love
