[AUDIO] Dave Chappell Explains His Disastrous Set: ‘F*ck Hartford! I Hope North Korea Bombs Them!’
Comedian Dave Chappelle has bounced back y’all! Last week, the 40-year-old Washington native took an L on stage of sorts, after he bombed his set in Hartford, Connecticut. In short, the crowd began booing him. Don’t believe me? Just watch.
But today is a new day and the ‘Chappelle Show’ star comically bounced during his Chicago show. He joked:
F*ck Hartford…F*ck ’em all…I swear to God, f*ck that whole city…Good to see you’ll. This is off the chain. Hold on one second….Listen, I know you read in the paper I took a nasty spill the other night. I promise you, contrary to popular belief, I ‘m not on drugs…As soon, as I said I’m not on drugs, the whole back tier boo’ed me…
He continued:
Man, this is so much better than Hartford. I won’t even go to Hartford for f*ckin gas. I don’t ever want anything bad to happen to the United States, but if North Korea ever drops a nuclear bomb on this country I swear to God I hope it lands in Hartford, Connecticut. That crowd was evil. Muf*ckas was torturous. Young, white, alcholics booing and talking all types of sh*t….I knew that sh*t would be on YouTube….I felt bad when Kramer did that sh*t to us. That sh*t in Hartford was bad. And you know that crowd feels lucky that they got to see me freak out.
