Ear Hustlin’: Ray J & Teairra Mari to Star In ‘Love & Hip Hop LA’ Spin-Off Show + Did The Kandi Factory Get the Pink Slip?
Does Mona Scott-Young have her sites set on a third spin-off to the Love & Hip Hop franchise? Rumor has it, the creator and one of the executive producer’s of the show has held meetings and is trying to cast the Hollywood version of the popular Vh1 show. Nothing has been confirmed, but an inside source has shared that singer/actor Ray J may be casted. Who else? Sister 2 Sister says that his rumored girlfriend, Teairra Mari, may also be casted. Both make sense as neither are new to reality TV. Ray J starred in his own reality show with the Norwood family called, ‘Brandy and Ray J: A Family Business’ and ‘For the Love of Ray J’. Meanwhile, Teairra Mari made a few cameo appearances on the first season of Love & Hip Hop (New York). At this point, none of this is confirmed. And in in other reality TV news…
There are a number of unconfirmed reports that Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Kandi Burruss’ spin-off show, The Kandi Factor, has got the pink slip. Reality Wives reports that due to ratings, the show will not return for a second season. The site reports:
Kandi cannot carry a show by herself, that or the promise of her releasing an unknown’s single doesn’t excite many people. Kandi had over 988,000 people following her on Twitter and 411,000 on various Facebook pages, yet they don’t tune into her show. Cancellation appears imminent.
Stay tuned.
