Beyonce & Jay Z Perform At Lebron James’ Reception, Meanwhile Guests Remain Tight Lipped About Hush Hush Weekend Wedding

Not even a peep!

Security was air tight for LeBron James’ wedding. Reportedly, the Miami Heat star married his longtime girlfriend, Savannah Brinson, at the posh Grand Del Mar Hotel in San Diego on Saturday. A source tells the Associated Press, the ceremony took place in the hotel’s Capella Chapel, and was part of a three-day celebration that concluded with a brunch on Sunday. James and Brinson, 27, have been together since high school and have two children. James, 28, proposed in January 2012 in Miami Beach.

From what we hear, intense security measures surrounded the wedding, and even some of the invited guests were unclear on some specific details in the days leading up to the long-awaited event. Brinson spoke briefly with AP about the wedding this spring, saying she was both excited and nervous. James has only discussed the wedding in general terms, once describing his role as only to ensure

that Savannah gets whatever she wants on her day, the wedding day she always dreamed of.

Many members of the Heat organization, including coaches, front-office personnel and players, were on the guest list. And while many of them tweeted hints that they were in San Diego for the wedding, none released any photos at the wedding or reception, as no phones were allowed. Adrienne Bosh and her hubby, along with Gabrielle Union and boyfriend D. Wade snapped photos the day of the wedding.

One of the highlights of the weekend, was the entertainment for the reception. According to TMZ, both Beyonce and Jay Z flew into San Diego for the evening (Bey is currently touring for the Mrs. Carter Show) and performed ‘Crazy In Love’ together at the reception.
