While the nation is experiencing day two of the U.S. government shut-down, some celebrities are taking to social media to promote President Obama’s ‘Affordable Care Act’. Celebrities including Lady Gaga, Kerry Washington, Tatyana Ali, Pharrell, John Legend, Nia Long and others posted photos of holding ‘Get Covered’ signage. According to Associated Press, the administration aims to sign up at least 2.7 million young, healthy Americans in Obamacare’s insurance plans in their first year to offset the costs of sicker beneficiaries.
