[Photos] Fantasia & Rumored Boyfriend Actor Dule Hill Cup Cake On Instagram

Outside of work, we’ve been seeing these two quite a bit…or at least it appears that way. Fantasia and actor Dule Hill are currently starring in the Broadway musical After Midnight in New York City. Hill, an actor known for his work in NBC’s West Wing and USA Network’s Psych, recently separated from his wife Nicole Lyn after eight years of marriage. Meanwhile, Fantasia’s most recent well-known relationships was with her child’s father, Antwaun Cook (whom she received heavy backlash with because he was then married/separated from his wife)  in 2011.

Earlier this year, the singer opened up about just how tough her relationship was with Cook because of the public’s scrutiny:

The industry was the main thing that hurt me. It wasn’t really the relationship. It was the world. It was me having to turn on my TV and seeing my name all over CNN, TMZ, all over the blogs, all over radio stations. That hurt me the most. It’s not about the music anymore. It’s about what kind of dirt can I dig up. Where can I find you in the street or in the grocery store and zoom in on that zit that you got from wearing makeup. I allowed so much to go on because I’m so loving and caring and I just want to see everybody happy and at peace, and I don’t like drama. They have made artists unreal. We’re not human anymore. They make us like we don’t have feelings, they totally ignore the music.

But it’s a new day and the American Idol singer is seeing brighter days, telling the Tom Joyner Morning Show last week:

For this five months [referring to Broadway], I’m doing something totally, totally different. And I thank God. I’m allowing him to do things in my life and I’m allowing Him to take control of it. When we do that, we mess up. This five months is just me and God.
